It's beginning to feel like fall....

The temperatures around here have been so nice lately you feel fall/winter knocking on our door. We started the week with a rainy, cold Monday with temperatures never getting out of the 50's. As the week went on, the temperature got a bit warmer with highs in the lower 70's upper 60's but the lows remaining in the upper 40's to lower 50's. It is been nice. I really like this weather.

Well, for an update on our house. Yesterday, Brien and I had to get up very early in order to view the stain for the concrete floors since they were going to be staining during the day. So, we got the kids up and headed out at 6:30 in the morning. The stain looked good and we gave the go ahead with staining. Later that morning, Danny, who is the builder, called to make sure that the stain was alright and I told him yes. Brien came home last night and informed me that they stained the entire house and would be sealing it the rest of the week. He was told while he was out there that they were planning on start putting in the dry walls up on Monday. It feels like this house will be ready in no time. I am just hoping that I am not trying to move during Christmas, it would make for a very stressful holiday.

Now onto the boys. Hunter finished t-ball and is now signed up for kick ball. I found out that he was upset yesterday when he couldn't go to kickball since he wasn't signed up. He told me this morning not to forget to sign him up so he can go to kickball. Tyler is doing well. He brought home his report card last night and I am happy to report that he made straight A's and now I owe him $10 since I told him that he would get $10 if he made straight A's. He is still very much involved in cub scouts and this weekend we are heading out to go camping. So, if you try reaching us by email or phone, we will get back to you Sunday when we return.

School is going alright for me. It isn't very easy. One class in particular is a bit difficult but I am hoping to finish with at best a C. He isn't the greatest professor but he is one of two who teach this class. What can you do. I start training my lab rat this weekend also. I have to teach her to press a bar in order to receive food pellets. I named her Snowball. I am going to take my camera with me on Sunday afternoon when I go to the lab to do the experiment in order to take a picture of her. I'll post that when I get the chance.

That's it for now. Hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you all soon.

So, are you going to have bare concrete floors? Or is this prep for something else? Confused...:)

A lab rat and 3 dalmations...what next? Good thing your new yard backs up to that reserve!
