Frustrated....

Why is it that it takes a company over 30 days to cash your check. My check that I wrote to the house appraisal guy just finally cleared my bank. Now hopefully I can balance it since everything has cleared. Anyone else have that problem??

I don't think I have EVER balanced my checkbook! Isn't that terrible!?? Especially being married to a banker?? I'm a mess.
