Hi Everyone! I have decided to try this blog thing like Kristin did in order for everyone to know how we are doing here in Texas. I'll try my best in order to keep this updated weekly.
First off, Brien is working at Lightfoot Mechanical which is an A/C company. It is much smaller than Del-Air which he likes. He has been enjoying having Saturdays off which he rarely got back home. But with summer right around the corner, I am not sure if he will continue to have Saturdays off. He has worked last Saturday and again working today. But next weekend he will get to have some fun. His boss is sending him and another guy from work to a fishing tournament. He is looking forward to that.
As for me, I have taken the spring semester off in order to find a job. I now work at Super Target and I am working overnights from 10pm until 7am. I am on the sales presentation team which basically means, I set up the shelves and hanging pegs you see around the store. Things constantly change in the store so that is what we do. If you ever have noticed one month things are in one aisle and then a month or couple of months later they have moved into another aisle, well, that is what I do. It keeps me busy so the overnight hours don't bother me so much. I have gotten used to it. I work Sunday night through Thursday night. I am hoping to take a couple of classes in the fall so I can finish in a decent amount of time.
What's going on with Tyler? Well, he is in the fourth grade now and attending Waverly Park Elementary. His teacher is Ms. Bradley who is the same teacher that his cousin Josh had in fourth grade. He is still doing the cub scout thing and is a webelo. He has another year as a webelo before he can cross over to Boy Scouts. We have gone camping with his den twice as a family and then him and Brien went once without Hunter and I since that is when Kristin came to visit in March. He gets out of school May 25th and then only be home until June 4th where him and Hunter will be flying back home with Moo-Moo for a month. He is looking forward to going back to Florida to visit with his cousins.
Hunter...where to begin. LOL. He is going to Kindercare and is enjoying school. He was out this past week from school since he had a really bad ear infection but seems to be doing much better now. He goes back to the doctor on Friday the 27th in order to make sure his ear is all clear. He is looking forward to going back to Florida and getting to ride on an airplane. This will be his first time on an airplane and I'm not going to be there, but at least his Moo-Moo will be there and I know she will take a couple of pictures for me.
Another news: back in the end of January we adopted another dalmatian from the Fort Worth Humane Society. His name is Wilson and he is such a sweet boy. He likes to play ball with the kids and me. He has gotten a little bigger since being here with us but it isn't fat, but true muscle.
Ok, I guess that is it for now. I'll post some pictures for everyone to see.
